Successful product development

We hold true to what we promise and never promise too much. Dalelven is a product development company with our base in the middle of Sweden. We are competent within mechanics, electronics, programming, prototype making and design. We also have our very own Prototype and Test Centre, where we test the products we develop to ensure that they meet all requirements. We also offer series manufacturing.

We are 32 independent and unpretentious consultants with great experience in designing products for industry and consumer markets. We find that working in teams gives the best results and we often take the projects home to work with them in-house. Naturally we are onsite at our clients as much as it is needed.

For us the client’s project is always the focus, and we are fully involved with the customer’s challenges. If a problem occurs, we are transparent about it and take responsibility to find a solution as quickly as possible. We have a keen eye on the latest of trends to be able to apply the smartest solution.

We are sufficiently big enough to tackle large projects but still small enough to be personal and flexible. Our workflow is adaptable to how you want it.

As all co-partners are active in the company it makes it feasible to take important decisions at a moment’s notice as the decision-making path is short.

This is what our product development process looks like in a few simplified steps

Project start

Meeting to define the framework for the project. We identify targets, needs, and risks.

Pre-study

We investigate the conditions, make an analysis, start brainstorming ideas and specify a list of requirements the product should fulfil.

Developing prototypes

Development is started in accordance with the requirements. Prototypes are verified and tested in a lab as well as with the targeted scenario.

Manufacturing

In conjunction with a pre-series, the manufacturing is refined to suit the specified producer.

Certification and launch

The product is certified to the required regulations before the product is launched.
